Clifton Contemporary Art is situated in the heart of Clifton Village, Bristol. We aim to present a range of the very best contemporary painting, prints, ceramics and sculpture with a particular emphasis on West Country artists.

Our exhibitions feature a regularly changing selection of work, often with a unifying theme inspired by nature, the seasons, the elements, local events and more.

Director Sarah Brown is herself an established landscape artist with years of experience managing galleries and curating exhibitions. As a graduate of Bath Academy of Art she was inspired by the strong links between the college and influential post war Cornish artists such as Peter Lanyon and William Scott who both taught there.

In addition to providing a great space and location for our artists’ work, we’re happy to help customers choose the right pieces to fit their home setting. We will also advise businesses seeking original artwork to enhance their work place.

We believe that our mix of creative expertise, business acumen and evocative location makes Clifton Contemporary Art unique and special.
