A Mixed Show by All Gallery Artists

For the welcome return of spring, the gallery is featuring a range of work filled with vitality and energy; all expressed in dramatically different ways.

 The deeply textured portraits of Carl Melegari are magnetic and insightful. By contrast, the subtle, atmospheric landscapes by Anna Boss seem to reveal and conceal distance and details as you look at them.

 Andrew Hood’s dynamic markets and cityscapes team with life and movement, while Elaine Jones’ paintings are shaped and inspired by natural forces and wilderness, poised between innate power and tranquillity.

 The restless elemental works of Janette Kerr that are so much more than ‘sea paintings’, perfectly counterbalancing the subtly luminous still life pieces of Lynne Cartlidge that shimmer with natural light.
