The ‘Homage to John Constable’ series was commissioned and published by Bernard Jacobson in 1976 to celebrate the bicentenary of John Constable’s birth. 

It comprised individual works by 19 artists including: Ivon Hitchens, Peter Blake, Howard Hodgkin, Patrick Caulfield and David Hockney.
